BOC-Port of Davao passes 1st Surveillance Audit, Maintains ISO Certification

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Davao passed the 1st Surveillance Audit for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification conducted by the External Auditors from TüvSüd.

The surveillance audit is conducted to review the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and the processes certified by the auditors and to monitor continuous compliance by the Office. The on-site audit is part of the maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 QMS Certification of the Port of Davao. 

After the two-day audit, the External Auditors from TüvSüd recommended the maintenance of its ISO 9001:2015 QMS Certificate. 

Likewise, its Sub-port of Dadiangas underwent External Audit at General Santos City. This is in line with BOC Davao District Collector, Atty. Erastus Sandino B. Austria’s commitment to assure that all customs processes of the said Collection District are standardized regardless of the change in policies and administration. 

The BOC Port of Davao will continue to promote transparency, and improve its services, systems, and processes through the guidance of Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz and in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. to consistently provide outstanding service to the stakeholders and the general public.
